This is the recipe book I wish I had when I was just learning about the importance of high quality animal foods and fats, high protein diets, minerals for health, and did NOT know where to start. 

 

Cooking nutrient dense, delicious, and filling meals for yourself and/or your family does NOT have to take hours of preparation or be complicated. In this recipe book, I share with you the simplicity and ease (and dare I say joy) of preparing meals in this way.

 

I wanted to create a way to share the recipes from my Nourishing Freezer Meals postpartum planning guide with those of you who are not interested in the postpartum aspect of that book. So, I put together all the recipes that I think would be best and easiest for busy people who want to nourish themselves (and added a few new ones).

 

This recipe book is years of me playing and experimenting in the kitchen; nourishing my children, husband and myself; preparing for my postpartum seasons; working with fresh ingredients from my animals and my gardens; and lots of taste testing by my husband, boys, family & friends.

 

I offer tips on how to source high quality foods without breaking your bank, as well as creative ideas to get your family and friends involved. 

 

Almost all the recipes are only one page and all contain simple ingredients. Includes 15 recipes with breakfast & snacks; broth, soup & stew; with "extras" like pesto, pâté & herbal infusions.

 

All these recipes are Weston A Price inspired, contain the vital nutrients and vitamins to build healthy human life, and include all the beautiful fat soluble vitamins that can only be found in healthy, free ranging, grass fed, sunshine living animals.
